Wendell C. (Bud) Rudacille

Owner


Wendell C. (Bud) Rudacille is the owner of ID-Lies. He is a retired Detective First Class from the Howard County, MD Police Department; a former U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Division Agent; and, a Department of Defense Special Agent and Senior Polygraph Examiner. Mr. Rudacille has conducted over 8000 polygraph examinations in a wide spectrum of cases to include: criminal, civil, economic loss, accident, domestic fidelity, pre-employment, and counter-intelligence issues. His research into verbal evasion and deception has been cited widely by criminal justice, legal, corporate security, and mental health professionals. He is the author of Identifying Lies in Disguise, a textbook on Verbal-Based Investigative Interviewing and Forensic Statement Analysis. Mr. Rudacille was a technical advisor, and appeared in polygraph scenes on the long running television program, America’s Most Wanted. He is a Vietnam Veteran, having served with the 9th Infantry Division. Mr. Rudacille brings 40 years of analytic interviewing experience to ID-Lies.

Gary L. Aschenbach Sr.

Forensic Statement Analyst


Gary L. Aschenbach Sr. is 25 year retired veteran of the Maryland State Police.

He is the founder and President of Law-Tech Consultants LLC, providing training, consulting, and private investigations since 1996.

He has been actively providing Forensic Statement Analysis and Interview & Interrogation training to thousands of law enforcement and military officers across the country and internationally.

Gary teaches the interviewing techniques and methods presented in Identifying Lies In Disguise.

Donald I. Bender, Ph.D

Forensic Psychologist


Donald I. Bender, Ph.D., is a licensed clinician who specializes in forensic psychology. He has trained various government agencies including Homeland Security, Department of Defense, and the United States Marshals Service in the practice of linguistic textual analysis, interviewing, and interrogation techniques. He regularly assists local law enforcement in the assessment of witness, victim, and suspect statements. He has been a consultant to CBS and Fox News on high-profile criminal cases. He works with private sector companies including IBM, Adobe, and Dunbar Armored on issues related to HR sensitive hires and fraud prevention. His research interests include clinical and forensic hypnosis, persuasion techniques, and false confession. He has developed software to automatically markup and score textual material for deception and sensitivity markers. He was honored to present the keynote address on Forensic Statement Analysis to the London International Conference on Fraud Prevention. Doctor Bender created the Forensic Statement Analysis software program used by ID-Lies, and provides consulting services for us for FSA and Cognitive-Analytic Interviewing.
